City AM is a digital-first newspaper and website publishing from the heart of the City of London.
Launched in 2005, it covers the latest economic, political and business news as well as comment, sport and lifestyle features.
City AM prints three times a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) while its website and app are staffed and updated 7 days a week.
Because of the high volume of applications our opportunities attract, it sometimes takes us time to review and consider them all.
We endeavour to respond to every application we receive within 14 days. If you haven’t heard from us within that time frame or should you have any specific questions about a position, please contact us.

City Reporter
City AM is looking for a City Reporter to join its team of business journalists, based in the City of London newsroom.
Applicants should have experience of reporting on corporate and financial news and a deep interest in the UK’s financial institutions and financial services sector.
In particular, candidates must have a keen interest in the listed company space, with experience reporting on listed company earnings across sectors. Candidates should also be comfortable covering the asset management and private equity space.

Applicants should submit a CV to rupert.hargreaves@cityam.com, along with a cover letter demonstrating an understanding of City AM’s place in the media landscape and 300 words on the biggest issues facing the City today.
